Biking to work was a way of life for Chad Schmucker who made a 6-mile commute to his office in rain or shine.

It started out simply enough—Jane Robinson just wanted to walk her new puppy Bella. A friend came alongside and two years later Jane and her pals are still taking it step by step on Jackson’s Falling Waters Trail.

Nancy Koker has always enjoyed walking, but since she retired from Consumers Energy she’s been more determined than ever to keep moving step by step toward physical fitness.
